Ancor Wood Adhesive

Properties: A plasticized wood adhesive based on a homo-polymer emulsion, quick drying solvents and a cellulose thickener. It is water soluble, and has high viscosity, very good bonding and water resistance.

Uses: Used to bind and joint timber and plywood

Colour: Milky

Thinning and Mixing: No thinning required

Cleaning Solvent: Water

Drying time: 2 – 4 hours @ 25^oC, 50% RH

Coverage: 2 – 2.5 m²/ kg depending on rate of application and surface condition

Viscosity 1000 ± 100g @ 25^oC,

Specific gravity 1.10 ± 0.05 @ 25^oC

Surface Preparation: Remove all oil, dirt, dust and moisture from both surfaces.

User Instructions: Apply a liberal coat of adhesive (about 2 – 3mm thick) with a clean brush to both surfaces, making sure not to cover too large an area at once. Allow about 2 – 3 minutes to dry. Bring surfaces together and hold or clamp in position firmly but not using excessive force. Allow 2hours minimum to fully set before removing pressure.

Precautions: Store away from direct sunlight and keep container sealed at all times. Ensure good ventilation during use, avoid skin contact and wear the usual protective clothing.
