Crown GP Matt Finish

Designed for use on wrought ironwork but may be used on a variety of other surfaces where a dense matt black finish is required. Crown Matt Finish can also be supplied in White as a hardwearing finish on walls, Partitioning etc.

Characteristics: High quality pigments ground in an alkyd medium.

Advantages: Excellent covering capacity. Attractive matt black finish which helps hide surface imperfections.

Finish: Matt.

Application: By brush, roller or spray.

Thinning & Mixing: Where necessary and for spray application thin with Crown White Spirit. Stir well before use.

Drying Times: Re-coatable in 16 hours.

Spreading Capacity: 13-15 m²/l when applied to smooth, non-porous surfaces.

Equipment Cleaner: Crown White Spirit.

Colour range: Black. Can also be supplied in Dark Green and White.

Pack Sizes: ½ litre, 1 litre, 4 litres.

Availability: From Crown Depots in Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu and through Crown Stockists.

SPECIFICATIONS:

New Metal Surfaces: Prepare surface (refer Data Sheet SP 3). Apply 1 coat appropriate metal primer. Apply 2 coats Crown Matt Finish.

New Wood Surfaces: Prepare surface (refer Data Sheet SP 4). Apply 1 coat Crown Wood Primer. Apply 2 coats Crown Matt Finish.

Previously Painted Surfaces: Prepare surface (on used school boards, wash the surface with detergent solution, wipe clean and allow to dry. Lightly abrade. Apply 2 coats Crown Matt Finish.
