Strongbond Paper Binding Adhesive

Properties: A plasticized paper to paper adhesive based on a homo-polymer emulsion, quick drying solvents and a hydroxyl ethyl cellulose thickener. It is water soluble, and has high viscosity, very good bonding and water resistance.

Uses: Mostly used by printing industries, stationery manufacturers and also by the packaging industries for binding paper to paper.

Colour: Milky

Thinning and Mixing: No thinning required

Cleaning Solvent: Water

Drying time: 1 - 3 minutes @ 25^oC, 50% RH

Coverage: 3 – 4m²/ litre depending on rate of application and surface condition

Application: By brush

Solids content 49 - 51%

Viscosity 300 ± 50g @ 25^oC,

Specific gravity 1.00 ± 0.02 @ 25^oC

MFFT 16 - 18 ^oC

Surface Preparation: Remove all oil, dirt, dust and moisture from both surfaces

User Instruction: Apply a thin coat of adhesive on both surfaces and align correctly. Press together gently, starting from the centre moving outwards to ensure no air entrapment and perfect adhesion of the surfaces.

Precautions: Store away from direct sunlight and keep container sealed at all times. Ensure good ventilation during use, avoid skin contact and wear the usual protective clothing.
