Crown Solo Plus 3 Masonary Primer
Plus 3 Masonry Primer is the most advanced of its type and is compatible with both oil and water based finishes. It is the most suitable primer for curing masonry defects on new or previously coated surfaces like plaster, cement, concrete, brick, asbestos sheets, MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard). Plus 3 Masonry Primer is highly suitable for painting surfaces which indicate blistering, peeling, cracking, flaking and chalkiness.
Characteristics: Oil based masonry primer manufactured from pliolite resin.
Advantages: Penetrates, binds & seals loose powdery or chalky surfaces. Alkali resistant. Can be applied on areas of minimum preparation. Prevents efflorescence. 100% water permeable - allows a surface to breathe yet provides water resistance. Provides maximum adhesion for water or oil based top-coats.
Application: By brush, roller or conventional spray.
Thinning: Thin maximum 10% with Crown White Spirit. Do not over-thin. Stir well before use.
Drying Times: Allow to dry overnight.
Spreading Capacity: 8-10 m2/l over smooth surfaces.
Equipment Cleaner: Crown White Spirit.
Colour range: White/ off white, with good opacity properties.
